Actress Yaya DaCosta Officially Files for Divorce [Love Don’t Live Here, Anymore]

Model turned actress YaYa DaCosta is calling it quits with her marriage. The “America’s Next Top Model” alumni has filed for divorce from her movie-director husband, according to Page Six.

Papers were filed in Manhattan, by DaCosta for a contested divorce against ex Joshua Bee Alafia on Thursday.

The pair were married for two years and have 2-year-old son named Sankara. Initially, it was reported in December 2014 that the pair were heading for divorce. No word on why the actress is now officially filing. Also, no word on what triggered the divorce.
