theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, ex-NFL star Hugh Douglas has reached a settlement in the year long legal battle with his former mistress in which she accused him of assault, days before the case was headed to trial in federal court.
Douglas was sued last year by his ex-mistress Hope Davila who accused the former NFL star of assaulting her numerous times, including one incident at a Connecticut hotel last year in which he was arrested. She claimed that in that incident he picked her up by her neck and slammed her head into the hotel wall several times.
The ex-NFL star was arrested for the incident and charged with felony strangulation and misdemeanor assault and was later sentenced to 2 years in a probation-like program.
