(EXCLUSIVE) Rapper Stitches Evicted From Miami Home, Owed Over $8K in Back Rent
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, The Game will be happy to hear that his arch-enemy Stitches was recently evicted out of his modest Miami home, after his landlord accused the rapper of screwing her out of 3 months of rent and $8K+ per their lease — according to court documents filed in Florida.
According to court documents filed in Florida, Stitches (aka Phillip Katsabanis) and his wife Erica were sued for eviction earlier this year by their landlord Betty Cuellar.
The suit explained that the rapper signed a lease agreement for a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom modest home in Miami. Per the deal, Stitches was to pay $2,700 a month in rent for the pad.
However, the landlord accused the rapper of screwing her out of 3 months rent for a total of $8,100 in back rent for the home at the time she filed the suit. She demanded Stitches and his wife be evicted from the property ASAP.
The judge came back with a decision on September 2nd, and ordered Stitches to vacate the home immediately but did not award the landlord any of the back rent. The case was closed the same week.
Unfortunately, Stitches isn’t having a great year — having been arrested recently in Miami after trying to start a altercation with rapper The Game. The epic battle went down outside a night club and ended with Stitches being punched by a member of The Game’s entourage.
Stitches was arrested after police searched his car and found marijuana and he was booked on charges of resisting an officer without violence, possession of marijuana and outstanding warrants the rapper hadn’t dealt with.
