Janet Jackson Sets the Record Straight: ‘I do not have cancer.’

Janet Jackson is setting the record straight about her health condition. Wednesday night, the 49-year-old singer released a statement on Instagram, contradicting reports that she had cancer. Her message read:

Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips.
The rumors are untrue.
I don’t have cancer.
I’m recovering.
My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled. Thank you for your prayers and love.

This week, reports swirled (via Radar Online) she postponed her Unbreakable World Tour, because she was set to undergo surgery because of a tumor that could be cancerous. Nonetheless, We’re glad to hear that she’s healthy and ready to hit the stage!
