Obama Picks Kendrick Lamar Over Drake-the jasmine brand

When it comes to emcees, President Barack Obama definitely has a preference. In a Q&A hosted by YouTube vlogger Adande Thorne, Obama was asked

If Drake and Kendrick Lamar got in a rap battle, who do you think would win?

And fortunately for music heads, Obama’s answer was not political. He replied:

Gotta go with Kendrick. I’m just saying. I think Drake is an outstanding entertainer, but Kendrick—his lyrics, his last album was outstanding. Best album, I think, of last year.
