‘Love & Hip Hop’ Is NOT Heading to New Orleans [FALSE ALARM]
False alarm! The Love & Hip Hop franchise is not taking its talents down south to New Orleans. For the past few months, rumors have surfaced that the hit VH1 show’s next spin-off was landing in NOLA. In fact, folk had even began to campaign, trying to get the attention of the network and the show’s executive producer, Mona Scott-Young. However, the rumors are false.
Scott-Young responded to an Instagram post stating:
I LOVE the beautiful city of New Orleans and I would love to do a show there BUT there is no Love & Hip Hop New Orleans being cast or shot right now. Not sure how this rumor got started but ya’ll flooding my time line on some false information.
There ya have it! NOLA will not be next. However, we have heard that Houston may be next in line. We shall see!
