Beyonce Lays Uncle Skip to Rest In Houston [Photos]

Over the weekend, the Beyonce Knowles and her family visited Houston to bury their Uncle Skip, who reportedly died earlier this month.

The obituary first appeared in the Galveston Daily News:

Born July 10, 1949, in Galveston, TX, Skip was an avid golfer and faithful member of his church. He will be remembered for his generous and loving personality, and for his kind and genuine heart. He is preceded in passing by parents, Agnes Derouen and Lumis Beyoncé Sr.; and brother Melvin Marsh Jr. He is survived by his devoted wife Cynthia; sons, Terrance Beyoncé and Terrell (Malu) Beyoncé; daughters, Andrea (Stan) Beyoncé, Lynn Beyoncé, Michelle Beyoncé, Dominique (Jimmie) Beyoncé-Hilton; Grandchildren, Deandre Beyoncé, Ledreya Washington, Jordan Beyoncé, J’la Butler, Caesar Beyoncé, and Bliss Beyoncé; Former spouse Barbara Beyoncé; Siblings, Selena Rittenhouse, Roland (Jeanette) Beyoncé, Florence (Jimmy) Hilliard, Larry Beyoncé, & Tina (Richard) Lawson; and a host of family and friends.

During the funeral, photos surfaced of Beyonce posting with relatives.

Footage was also captured of Jay Z and Beyonce leaving the service.
