Naomi Campbell Reacts to Rumors She’s Dating Idris Elba [VIDEO]

Ladies (and gents for that matter) can breathe a sigh of relief. Idris Elba and Naomi Campbell are NOT dating. The supermodel addressed rumors — that surfaced a few months ago — that the pair are a couple during an interview on Sway In the Morning. Naomi stated,

I’ve known Idris [Elba] for like 10, 15 years. And when he takes a picture with me at my fashion events, my charity — no problem there. All of a sudden, bing-bam-boom, we’re couple. It’s craziness. I mean we’re very good friends. And I respect — I’m so happy for all the success he’s having … He’s bloody brilliant, he deserves it…

She continues,

We’ve got a great friendship, I’ve never had the press push me to be with someone and there so wrong. I love him as a friend dearly and I always will so that part they got right, but they’ve got it in the wrong context.

Most recently, reports hit that Idris had ended his relationship with his girlfriend of over two years, Naiyana Garth.

The 43-year-old star of the hit show Luther, is said to have moved out of the home that they share together. The pair share a 22-month-old son named Winston.
