Janet Jackson Pregnant! [Ovary Hustlin’]
Congratulations to Janet Jackson and hubby Wissam Al Mana. The 49-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child, according to source for ET.
Last month, the speculation of a possible pregnancy began, when Janet postponed her tour, telling her fans,
We’re in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour. Please, if you could try and understand that it’s important that I do this now. I have to rest up, doctor’s orders. But I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.

Janet and Wissam married in 2012. This is the singer’s third marriage. Janet’s camp has yet to confirm the news.

So…your child will be 10 when you’re 60? This is actually really selfish to me. I mean, it’s a gift to have a child, but geesh.
This is very common nowadays, but I’m with you. I think this is selfish to have a baby at such a late stage in life. Tony Randall also fathered his last child at 77 and later died at 84. So, his young wife was left raising a child on her own. I don’t think you have the energy or the patience to deal with a baby at 50, so that means some nanny will be raising that child. I could be wrong, but I can’t help but feel sorry for the children.
Well, what would you all say about a teen mother who can’t afford to have a baby or someone who is of age and doesn’t have the means to provide properly for their child? Is that being selfish? I am not close to Janet’s age, but if it’s ordained by God, then so shall it be. The Bible is filled with stories of my order women who’ve had children–healthy children. Don’t be so quick to judge.
“Older”
Congrats. My grandmother had my aunt late in life (my grandparents thought my grandmother was safe because of her age). My grandfather died when she was 18 and my grandmother when she was in her 30s.
Congrats to her and hubby!
