(EXCLUSIVE) Tamar Braxton: The Real Co-Hosts Blindsided By Firing

Tamar Braxton-Denies The Real Feud-the jasmine brand

theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, co-hosts of the hit daytime show ‘The Real‘ were blindsided by the news that Tamar Braxton would not be returning for another season.

A source tells us:

The co-hosts had no idea that Tamar would be terminated. Quite frankly, they’re devastated. There wasn’t a meeting called. There weren’t even warning signs and they had nothing to do with her firing. They didn’t even know that a statement was being put out.

The show is currently on hiatus until August and sources say the decision was solely on the executive producer of the show.

Another source adds:

The hosts really get along behind-the-scenes and they’re pissed that they were left in the dark about this.

We’re told that each co-host has their own contract, so even if they wanted to band together to prevent this, they couldn’t. Each talent contract differs with their pay, the length of their contract with the show, etc.

So why was Tamar terminated? We’re told that no one outside of Warner Brothers and the EP know why she was let go. We hear that focus groups may be to blame or her relationship with production. There are also reports that Tamar may have been difficult for production to work with.

Sources also tell us that Warner Brothers has not determined if they will attempt to replace Tamar Braxton or if the show will keep its remaining 4 co-hosts.
Tamar Braxton, nor any of the co-hosts have yet to comment. Reportedly, Tamar is no longer following any of the co-hosts on social media. A source tells us that she unfollowed them because she probably doesn’t want to see them posting about the show that just axed her, unfairly.

Anywho, knowing Tamar, we’re sure she’ll land on her feet and continue to soar.

If the co-hosts are so devastated, I’m praying that they will speak up and fight to keep their friend on the show. I will certainly conitnue to voice my ipinion as a faithful viewer…Producers – you need to reconsider and ask Tamar to come back!!!! You will be in for a rude awakening come August if you delete her as a co-host. Mark my words – God don’t like ugly and she is definitely one of His children.. you’d better watch out!!!!!!

I like Tamar but she started become a little annoying to me on the show for some reason… I think it was her voice.

I’m sorry I know a lot of people like Tamar. But,Her type of behavior isn’t for tv.You can be a homegirl type. But,You can’t be that ghetto. We (black folks)may can take her. But,Not every show watcher can relate to that. Why didn’t she tone that down sometimes?Turn it off some days and just be regular.

She is to over the top.

When Tamar leaves the rating of the show will go down. To me, she made the show. . I was a big fan of the real. But you lost me. Will not be watching anymore. If they want to fire someone. Fire. Jeannie No. She was the one over the top. And also got to be center and unterupting everyone when their talking. Just plain rude.

The ratings may go up, she was TOO much, too loud and just OVER THE TOP! However, I love Loni Love but to me she never takes anything serious. I know she’s a comedian but sometimes she needs to bring it down a notch.

Lonnie is also loud and over the top.

You know what I don’t like about Loni is how she plays the big girl always acting desperate for a man and talking real stupid sometimes.I get she’s a comedian. But,I thought initially she would bring the older mature balance to the show to kinda be a draw for the older watchers like me.And when she wasn’t bringing that I was disappointed.Honestly,As far as the comedy thing,I never found Loni funny.

i like Tamar, but hated her as a host, the show was actually more watchable when she wasn’t on lip smacking, pronouncing words incorrectly and over talking everyone. i don’t think anyone backstabbed her, but I did see some tension with her on screen & everyone else but Tamera…mostly b/c she talked too much and came off like a know-it-all.. she’ll be fine.

    Tamara was the draw.

  9. Surprise 1 at 10:40 am

I didn’t watch it that much because it comes too late in the evening. But, for the times I did watch it Tamar was way to much, way over the top, loud and those weird noises she would make with her voice was just ridiculous. I notice some people say it could’ve been Tamera’s fault, hmmm. Hopefully the truth will come out soon. I do wonder what will happen with the show though, because I believe Tamar’s husband is an executive producer or something.

  10. Kim at 3:03 pm

Initially,I thought that was here and Vince show.I thought he was an Executive Producer.Ive heard being an EP holds no weight.I was told from someone associated with the show that a new EP took over.Maybe Tamar left because Vince was leaving.I wonder if they’ll change the direction of the show?Im sorry but I believe they thought the show was too ethnic(If u know what I mean). And I believe they want to attract a more diverse audience.I wouldn’t be suprised. It seems that they always do that.

I actually think she toned it down for this show. A fan of Tamar’s know that on the show she was toned down and wasn’t so “extra” ALL the time. Her bits of extra here and there was funny but I really do feel she toned it down for this show. I just think people prejudged/prejudge her and keep saying ” She is too extra, she is over to the top” when in life, yes she is, but on the show? No. She brought fun to the show. The corn balls to me is Jeannie and Adrienne. The “EXTRA” one is Loni acting desperate self.

Good job Tamar and good luck.

  12. JayJay at 4:40 pm

Jasmine, I would greatly appreciate it if you would get your facts straight. Tamar only unfollowed Jeannie and the show’s pages. She’s never followed Loni and she’s still following Tamera and Adrienne. Now, everyone else, please stop drawing stupid and baseless conclusions about the other ladies. I’m gonna miss Tamar but please don’t wish bad things for the other hosts’ futures.

  13. KJ at 8:13 pm

Tamar was my absolute favorite. I am sad to see her go, especially like this. Its the real and she always kept it 100. Thank you Tamar. Each woman brought something special to the show and Tamar cannot be replaced. Tamar is already a star and the real was lucky to have gotten her! As a loyal Tay Martian, I will not watch without Tamar as I have fBraxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince and great music though I will miss Tamera :(

  14. Paine at 12:35 am

The cast was a good fit for all if it wasn’t the network would not have picked it up in the first place. Let’s wait and see and stop judging. All the ladies brought their uniqueness to the show, yes sometimes certain things got a little tired, but it was entertaining.

  15. J.A. Whittler at 9:02 am

I’m terribly sadden over Tamar’s dismissal. She was a asset to the Real. Of course, there were many times when she could of toned it down, especially when it came to the odd lip smacking sounds. I really feel Tamar’s antics were a act for the show. In all reality, none of us viewers “really” know the true nature of each co-hosts. All and all they all (co-hosts) belong there on the show. I will miss Ms.Braxton but lest we forget , it is show business. Meaning, the word”business”, it is just exactly that business. Again, we as viewers will never know the “real” truth. So basically let’s be considerate of the other co-hosts. It takes more than just one person to run this show. Tamar, you are truly a light. God is NOT done with you. Please keep your head held high.?. This is only a small bump in the road, for you. You know the old saying, “when one door closes, another will open”. God be with you. I would like to add also, the other co-hosts deserve respect and continued success on “The Real”. I just pray that this doesn’t affect the show ‘ s ratings. One last thing, you ladies are very blessed to be in your positions and to have great accomplishments under each of your belts. All of you are worthy of being on the show. Please don’t let the “nay sayers”, pit you against one another. There is strength in numbers, please remember that. Congratulations on ALL of your Emmy nominations for “The Real”. God be with each and everyone of you!! Have a very blessed day!!?
