Bobby Brown Says Whitney Houston Was Bisexual, Addresses Her Rumored Relationship With Robyn Crawford
The headlines continue about the late Whitney Houston. As you know, Bobby Brown is currently promoting his new memoir, Every Little Step. And in the process, new claims, rumors and speculation about his ex wife are being discussed.
During an interview with Us Weekly, Bobby addresses Whitney’s long rumored secret same-sex romance with her best friend and assistant, Robyn Crawford. The former New Edition singer explains,
I know. We were married for 14 years. There are some things we talked about that were personal to us.
Whitney and Robyn met as teens in East Orange. Robyn later became her assistant then creative director, traveling with Whitney.
Bobby says that was bisexual.
I’m a man and she was attracted to me!
He believes that Whitney would never reveal her relationship with Robyn, because she feared judgment from her mother Cissy Houston and her family.
I really feel that if Robyn was accepted into Whitney’s life, Whitney would still be alive today. She didn’t have close friends with her anymore.”
Robyn has never addressed her rumored relationship with Whitney, but after her death in 2012, she wrote in a piece for Esquire that the superstar was “a loyal friend” who “looked like an angel.” Adding,
I loved her laughter, and that’s what I’ll miss most.
Bobby’s new tell-all memoir will be released June 13.
