Niecy Nash Cast In ‘Masters Of Sex’ Season 4
Niecy Nash has been cast in season 4 of Showtime’s series, Masters of Sex, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will play an Alcoholics Anonymous veteran named Louise Bell, a local AA chairperson running Masters’ court-ordered daily meetings. She fervently believes in AA’s message, and uses it to push Masters to reevaluate his life.
Masters of Sex is a period drama television series that is loosely based on Thomas Maier’s biography Masters of Sex. Set in the 1950s and 1960s, the series tells the story of Masters and Johnson (Dr. William Masters and Virginia Johnson) who are portrayed by Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan.
Niecy is a comedian, model, actress, and producer, best known for her performances on television. Most recently, she played nurse Denise “DiDi” Ortley in the HBO comedy Getting On and starred as Lolli Ballantine on the TV Land sitcom The Soul Man (2012—2016), and played Denise Hemphill in the Fox horror-comedy anthology series, Scream Queens (2015-present).
Production on Season 4 is underway in Los Angeles for a September 11 premiere.
