(EXCLUSIVE) Jagged Edge’s Kyle Norman Baby Mama Wants Singer Thrown In Jail Over Back Child Support
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Jagged Edge singer Kyle Norman is close to being thrown in jail over $50k in back child support, according to the lawsuit recently filed by his baby mama, against him in Georgia court.
The baby mama, Tabitha Dumas, filed suit against Kyle in Georgia court recently demanding he be found in contempt and thrown in jail. She filed the case demanding an increase in her monthly child support payments for their son Kye’ – born in 1999.
Tabitha says that she was never married to the Jagged Edge singer but they share one child. Back in 2008, she won a default judgement against the singer in which he was ordered to pay $575 in child support per month.
She says that since that order things have changed. Tabitha believes that the singer’s income has increased substantially recently.
Also, she accuses her baby daddy of owing her a ton of back support over the years. The documents state Kyle has failed to pay $50,750 in support from 2008 to the current date.
Tabitha says that the singer has willfully, voluntarily failed and refused to pay her the full amount of child support owed. Further, he allegedly has not reimbursed or paid for 72% of medical expenses for their son, which he is supposed to pay.
The lawsuit is demanding an upward modification of Kyle’s child support obligation on both temporary and permanent basis. She is also pleading to have Kyle thrown in jail until he purges himself of contempt aka PAY UP IN FULL ASAP. Kyle has yet to respond to the allegations in court.

I never got the idea of throwing someone in jail over child support. If they are in jail they still won’t be able to pay what they owe.
