Solange Knowles Literally Took Guests to Church For Her ‘Sunday School’ Themed Birthday [VIDEO]

The birthday celebration continues for Solange Knowles who turned 30. The creative artist, whose older sister is Beyonce, celebrated her milestone birthday with a ‘Sunday School’ theme. Sharing a photo on Instagram, she writes:

When I thought about all the tings that make me happy….God, The South, Music, Blackness, Prayer, wearing white,and dancing with the people I love….I decided to make my earth day celebration, “Sunday School” a revival celebrating renewal. When the choir sings Order My Steps it’s. going. down.

Guests wore their sunday’s bests, which included hats (aka crowns), gloves and fancy attire. And of course, it had a New Orleans first line feel. Check out a few of the clips.

….And I still got the spirit with me… Sunday school turned to Monday school (danced until 8 in the morning??) What Earth Day (birthday) dreams are really made of. Revival indeed.
