Tamir Rice’s Mother Disappointed in Obama: I Don’t Know How He Sleeps at Night [VIDEO]
Tamar Rice’s mother is not pleased with President Barack Obama. During a recent interview on MSNBC’s AM Joy with Joy Reid, the mother of slain 12-year-old Cleveland, Samaria Rice, says it has been a struggle coping after the killing of her son in 2014. The mother and activist says the Black Lives Matter movement has been important at enacting some change.
I appreciate Black Lives Matter and them stepping up and showing me with unity looks like.
When asked about the presumptive candidates’ response, Rice says none of them are very outspoken on the issue.
President Barack Obama, I don’t know what you are doing. I don’t know how you are able to sleep at night … Nobody is getting any justice … I am very disappointed in him.”
The interview concludes with Rice saying that the RNC and the open-carry laws in Ohio are a “recipe for disaster.” See the full interview below.

It wasn’t Obama that let your son play with a toy gun in the park alone. You should be disappointed in yourself for that!!
So where should a child “PLAY” with a “TOY”?? Toy guns have been marketed to boy children and sold for decades in this country and many others. I understand the police were responding too an inaccurate call, but it’s their job to access the situation before reacting. Not pull directly in front of a suspect a.k.a victim, hop out and shot. Especially when no gun shots were even reported. Her child was playing in the park with a toy, where it is suppose to be safe for him to play cops and robbers like most children have played growing up. It’s just sad that he had no idea that the real cops were called, and would use real bullets on him, like he was a real robber…smh
I don’t know about you Keyster, but I would not send my son to a public park with a toy gun that looks real. That’s not very smart.
I don’t know about you Anonymous, but I wouldn’t want an overzealous, reckless cop who shots suspects first before assessing the situation, protecting and serving my community. That type of officer causes innocent lives to be lost and tax money to be paid out because of his poor decisions.

What people do not understand is that the president cannot do anything alone. He has directed the FBI to get involved. Just because he is black and president does not mean he can say “arrest the officers and charge them” people need to learn more about government and how it works. It is not his fault some rogue police officers are shooting first. Wakeup and read!!!!!
This is the establishments last chance and they know it. The other people don’t want Hillary to win because if she does that proves that things really have changed and there time is over. Black people we WILL. Decide this election. Go out and vote for Hillary. Trump and his establishment must be defeated. It’s a big step in the right direction to show them that times have changed.
What does she want Obama to do exactly?
I agree with her about President Obama.I have come to see in life that nothing happens for nothing.What I’ve seen and learned in my walk through life is that people are put in positions and situations to do what you are called upon in that instance or instances.Obama was made President for times like these.What man couldve understood our struggles more so than a black man?Granted I don’t pretend to know what he should’ve done.But,I do know he was afraid and didn’t step up as much as he could’ve.This is his last term.What could they have really done to him if he would’ve spoken a more stronger word and not played Politically correct with Police officers?His Presidency while he has achieved some great strides.But,Trust and believe”they” are gonna do all that they can to make his Presidency be remembered for the worst division in our land and every other negative incident that they can find to tarnish his time as Leader of the free world.So why not come out and show them something strong?Mr.President you had nothing to lose.This is just my opinion.I just wish that black man in the Whitehouse would’ve made us believe and the rest of the country know that BlackLivesDoMatter for real!!!!!!
Too bad Joy didn’t ask her about her local government, guaranteed she wouldn’t know, because she doesn’t vote in mid term elections. She doesn’t comprehend that the POTUS works with the US congress. She doesn’t pay attention to politics until something happens in her life or until there is a national election and she can vote for Pres. Obama. She hasn’t paid attention to how hard he has worked and the obstruction he has fought since Jan. 20, 2009.
Otherwise there is no way she could say she is disappointed because she would have been familiar with how hard the POTUS was working on these issues prior to her son’s terrible loss AND she would have been involved with this work a LONG TIME AGO. I am glad she FINALLY WOKE UP. I am disappointed that it took a personal loss for her to join Pres. Obama in this fight.
