Rita Ora Replaces Tyra Banks, Will Host ‘America’s Next Top Model’
Congrats to Rita Ora! She is officially the new host of America’s Next Top Model, replacing Tyra Banks.
The news was confirmed by Banks, who is the creator and executive producer of the series. The former super model will still make a few guest appearances on the hit show.
In addition to Ora, supermodel Ashley Graham, stylist Law Roach and Paper magazine chief creative officer Drew Elliott, will be panel judges. Banks tells USA Today,
I thought we were done with the brand. But the fact that the brand still has viability, and that VH1 really truly sees a strong future with it, how could I say no to that?
Ora also discussed her experience thus far:
The approach I wanted to have as a host and judge to the girls is what my career stands for at this moment in time, which is being a businesswoman and being able to do multiple things at the same time, whether it’s music or shooting (magazine covers) and being in movies and designing clothes.
ANTM is currently filming a new 14-episode season. The new season will air on VH1. [USA Today]
