Mary J. Blige Tells Critics: Shut the f**k up!
Mary J. Blige has a message for the critics. Early Wednesday morning, the following tweet was sent out from her account:
EVERYBODY SHUT THE F*CK UP!!!!
She added
#takethat #Haters #crabinabarrell #simpleminded #411
The tweet was later deleted. We’re told that Blige’s comments were based on the overwhelming backlash that she received over the Apple commercial promoting her sit-down with presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
This week, Apple released the promo and during the conversation, Blige sits across from Clinton and belts out some questions concerning social injustice and police brutality. See the clip.
Blige was criticized by some on social media. Besides the mystery tweet, Blige hasn’t commented on her upcoming sit-down. The title of the sit down, The 411, is an ode to Blige’s 1992 album. Her interview with Clinton will debut on Apple Music, September 30. P.S. What were YOUR thoughts on the commercial?
