Mona Scott-Young Hints Soulja Boy Was Fired From Love & Hip Hop

Did Soulja Boy (real name DeAndre Cortez Way) quit or was he fired? This week, the rapper announced that he was throwing up the deuces to VH1’s hit reality show, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood.

The rapper and his ex girlfriend Nia Riley have starred on the reality show for the last few seasons. However, Soulja is over it. This week, he tweeted that he quit and is working on his own show. He wrote:

I’ve decided to quit Love and hip hop. I feel my brand is too big for the show now. It’s too ratchet. I have my own new tv show coming soon!

However, a new social media post from executive producer Mona Scott-Young, leads some to believe that he was actually axed. Mona reposted a message, from another Love & Hip Hop producer, that reads:

IF I EVER GET FIRED I’M GONE TELL PEOPLE I QUIT TO PROTECT MY BRAND

LHHH is currently filming the reunion. It’s safe to say, Soulja will not be present.
