Toya Wright Admits Friendship Ended With Tamar Braxton Over Appearing On ‘The Real’
Toya Wright Admits Friendship Ended With Tamar Braxton
Toya Wright is spilling the tea on what ended her friendship with Tamar Braxton, in her new book, “In My Own Words…My Real Reality”.
Toya details a “falling out” with the singer and Braxton Family Values reality star, claiming that things went south after she appeared on ‘The Real‘, the talk show that Tamar had been fired from over the summer.
Toya appeared on the show to discuss the tragic death of her two brother’s and to promote her book. Toya says that she never discussed Tamar’s exit from the talk show and never discussed her appearing on the show. She also says that she attempted to get on the show when Tamar was on there, but was always unsuccessful, until the singer left.
My friend was on the talk show for what I believe was two seasons and I was never able to go on there. After my friend was fired, my publicist was able to get me on the show, which I found to be stranger. I never had a convo with my homegirl about what happened to her and how she ended up leaving the talk show. All I knew is that she no longer worked there.
Toya also addresses reports that Tamar began unfollowing her on social media.
I was able to release the cover art of my new book on the show. I was super excited! Little did I know, when I was done with the show I was gonna lose a friend and get unfollowed. It was news to my ears as I logged on to my social media accounts to see that I was tagged in all kinds of posts saying that myself and another friend were unfollowed for going on the show.
The other friend that Toya is referring to is allegedly singer Monica (Brown).
Tamar has yet to comment. Toya’s new book is now available for purchase. [Baller Alert]
