Popular reality star Cardi B is taking her talents to scripted to TV. The Love & Hip Hop: NY star has been cast on BET’s “Being Mary Jane“.

Cardi will appear in one episode as a reality star named Mercedes. Her character is described as a

round-the-way beauty with a big weave, big boobs and a big booty to match her oversized, ratchet personality.

Senator Cory Booker will also guest-star in an episode.

Being Mary Jane is a TV series created by Mara Brock Akil and starring Gabrielle Union, that debuted in 2014, on BET. The series follows professional and personal life of successful TV news anchor Máry Jane Paul (played by Gabrielle Union) who lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
