Keke Palmer Is Confident With No Make-Up: I’m not supposed to look polished.

Actress and singer KeKe Palmer is all about being comfortable in her own skin. In a recent video posted on her Instagram page, she discusses how a friend had an issue with her not wearing makeup sometimes, saying Palmer didn’t look “polished” when she chose to present herself that way.

Palmer’s response to this individual’s opinion was full of confidence and is probably echoed by many women:

That’s the gag. I’m not supposed to look polished. That’s the problem. Everybody’s walkin’ ’round trying to be polished 24/7….that s*** is fake as f***.

She continued to explain her position, acknowledging the existence of the “diva” persona and how it is “beloved,” but Palmer says this just isn’t her:

I’m definitely a diva, but I’m a 2017 Millennial diva.
