Bishop Eddie Long Sexual Abuse Accusers Penning Book ‘Foursaken’
Bishop Long Accusers Penning Book
The four young men who accused Bishop Eddie Long of sexual coercion are penning a book called ‘Foursaken‘. Responding to the mega preacher’s passing, they shared in a statement:
As much as we’d like to make a statement about the passing of Bishop Eddie Long, we’ve all decided to remain silent, for now. We’re all brothers in this.
The statement added,
Our perspectives will be addressed in our book, Foursaken, which we hope to release soon.
Reportedly, the book will focus on their lives after breaking ties with the controversial bishop. They’re said to still be shopping for a publisher.
Prior to his death, the mega preacher was plagued by reports that he sexually coerced four young men. In 2010, a suit was filed by Anthony Flagg, Maurice Robinson, Jamal Parris and Spencer LeGrande. A fifth accuser named Centino Kemp later came forward. An undisclosed financial settlement was reached in 2011.
The suits accused Long of using his position to coerce the men into having sexual relationships with him while they were teen members of his congregation. The lawsuits claims Long engaged in intimate sexual acts with the young men, such as massages, masturbation and oral sex.
