Actor Shia LaBeouf Arrested For Assault & Harassment [VIDEO]
Shia LaBeouf Arrested
Shia LaBeouf was reportedly arrested early Thursday. The actor is accused of grabbing and pushing a man outside a museum in New York, where he has been protesting the division that he believes was caused by Donald Trump’s presidency.
LaBeouf is said to have grabbed at the scarf of a 25-year-old man, “causing a scratch to the man’s face,” and then pushed him, which resulted in the man falling to the ground. He arrested around 12:30 a.m. Thursday on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and harassment. Here’s footage of his arrest.
Reportedly, LaBeouf was charged and released early Friday.
LaBeouf has been protesting outside the Museum of the Moving Image, since Trump’s inauguration last Friday. Protesting on live-stream, he’s consistently chanted,
He will not divide us.
LaBeouf explained recently that the protest was not anti-Trump but rather “anti-division.”
I’m just saying, ‘Be nice to each other’.
