Jodeci Biopic In the Works
Fresh off of the success of the New Edition biopic, another legendary 90’s R&B group may have their story told on the small screen. In a recent interview, Mr. Dalvin (who is a member of the group) revealed that a Jodeci biopic is underway. He explained,
It’s in the works already. They started the process last September. They finished the script, and it’s going into production next month. So we’re looking at probably the end-of-the-year release. VH1 bought the right’s, they own the right’s so far.

I would watch.
I’ve got mixed feelings. I am so here for Jodeci’s biopic, but after seeing what BET did with the New Edition story, I would have liked for BET to produce it . VH1 has a history of making flop made for TV biopics. In my opinion, they massacred the stories on TLC, MC Hammer, MJ, and the list goes on.
