Aaron McGruder

McGruder is the creator of the popular Adult Swim cartoon show The Boondocks, based on his long running comic strip. In 2006, the show also won a Peabody Award for the episode ‘Return of the King.’ He is also co-creator of the live-action series Black Jesus, which is gearing up for a third season on Adult Swim. In the feature film world, he also co-wrote “Red Tails” based on the lives of the Tuskegee airman during World War II.
