Ja Rules Says #BlackBoyJoy Disrespectful, Tank Calls Out Rapper: Don’t tear black men down!
Tank & JaRule Disagree Over Hashtag
Ja Rule and Tank seem to be having a disagreement over a hashtag. BET posted a photo of Maxwell, Omari Hardwick and the cast of the New Edition movie with the caption:
There was a lot of #BlackBoyJoy at #ABFFHonors! To witness the magic, tune in on Wednesday at 8/7c! ?: @iamjamesanthony
Apparently, rapper Ja Rule caught wind of the caption and took issue with the #BlackBoyJoy hashtag that was used. See his comments below, along with an exchange between him and another commenter.
Tank, who co-starred in the film, weighed in, stating that Ja Rule shouldn’t tear down black men and the rapper should be a positive reinforcement. See his comments below.
