Mahershala Ali’s family is growing! This week, the Moonlight actor and his wife Amatus Sami-Karim welcomed a baby girl. Mahershala shared the news on social media. Posting a photo of his wife holding their newborn, he wrote:

Bari (Bar-ee) Najma Ali ?2/22/17 #pisces

Earlier this month, he hinted about his child’s name saying, “We’re looking to do something simpler”.  This is their first child. Congrats to them!
