Mel B May Have To Pay Ex $6 Million In Divorce
Mel B may have to pay her estranged husband, Stephen Belafonte. As previously reported, the former Spice Girl/America’s Got Talent host and producer have called it quits.
Reportedly, they signed a prenuptial agreement and Stephen will not have access to her rumored 60 million fortune. However, he could get $6.25 million in any divorce settlement. Why? Because he is said to have put his career on the back-burner to support Mel’s career, according to a report.
A source claims,
Mel is a canny Yorkshire lass and was advised to protect her assets and estate before the wedding. This wasn’t an act of preparing for the marriage to fail but was an act of a hard-nosed businesswoman who knew the pitfalls that can lie ahead in any relationship.
The couple were married for 10 years and share a five-year-old daughter named Madison.
