Kevin Gates Wife Asking For Prayers For Incarcerated Rapper

Kevin Gates’ wife, Dreka, is asking for people to send positive thoughts and vibes to her husband, rapper Kevin Gates. Over the weekend, she posted a message to social media, telling his fans to NOT dwell on the things that the media has posted about him, but focus on positive energy. See her statement below.

On Friday (March 24), Gates was arrested again, on the day he was originally set to be released from jail. Reportedly, authorities spotted an outstanding weapons-related warrant in his files. He was sent back into jail and had a hearing scheduled later in the day. In 2015, Gates was charged with battery after he allegedly kicked a female fan in the chest during a show in Florida. No additional details about his case have yet been released.
