Mary J. Blige is opening up about her split from her now soon-to-be husband and former manager, Kendu Isaacs. She explains what the breaking point was after 16 years of marriage.

The overwhelming disrespect, you’re too familiar, you’re way too familiar you’re disrespecting me and I know, I can sense that I’m not what you want anymore. You start to realize that this man doesn’t want you and he’s just gone all the time and you’re by yourself in the relationship.

Mary also hints that she was suspicious that he may have been cheating.

You start to realize that this man doesn’t want you and he’s just gone all the time and your by yourself in the relationship. When you realize you’re by yourself and you’re just suffering through it, now it’s time to do some investigating. 

She added,

I was getting things here and there but I didn’t have no full proof but when I got the full proof I didn’t have to investigate. It just showed up.
