Wendy Williams On Men & Being A Career Woman

Wendy Williams is opening up about her relationship with her husband, Kevin Hunter, who is also her manager. The talk show host is a mother of one and has been married since 1997. She says,

I’m not one of those girls who needs a man, but I recognize the value of a man. Especially if he’s going to help you out and support you.

Wendy admits that her husband became her manager because he was

one of the smartest men I know. He doesn’t want to be in front of the camera. He doesn’t care about a red carpet. He doesn’t care about a microphone and he’s very encouraging of everything.

Wendy also explains that she doesn’t subscribe to the philosophy that a woman can have and do it all.

Women can’t do it all. And we can’t do it well. Something is going to suck. Something is going to be eh. If you’re lucky, there’s one thing you do really great. I don’t know if that one thing would be being a mom. Being a working person. Or what.

She also has an interesting take on women who choose to stay home.

It is a misnomer that because you’re a stay at home mom, it makes you a good mom.
