Janet Jackson’s estranged husband, Wissam Al Mana, has changed his web site, updating it with a spiritual message from the Quran. It reads,
You shall most certainly be tried in your possessions and in your persons; and indeed you shall hear many hurtful things from those to whom revelation was granted before your time, as well as from those who have come to ascribe divinity to other beings beside Allah. But if you remain patient in adversity and conscious of Him – this, behold, is something to set one’s heart upon. – 3:186?
Janet, nor Wissam, have yet to release a statement since news hit that the couple were separating after five years of marriage and just three months after their son, Eissa Al Mana’s birth. This week, Janet made a rare appearance, taking a walk with her son and a friend.
It’s widely speculated, that the couple decided to end their marriage over cultural differences.
