Issa Rae’s ‘Insecure’ Renewed For 3rd Season

Insecure is returning! HBO has renewed the Issa Rae led comedy series for a third season.

Created by Issa Rae and Larry Wilmore, Insecure follows the friendship of two black women as they deal with their own real-life flaws while attempting to navigate different worlds and cope with an endless series of uncomfortable everyday experiences.

The series stars Issa Rae, Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis and Lisa Joyce.

Issa, along with Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky and Jonathan Berry executive produce. Penny also showruns. [Click here for our interview with him.]

Insecure airs Sundays on HBO.
