50 Cent: I Leaked “Power” Episodes
50 Says He Leaked “Power” Episodes
Curtis ’50’ Cent Jackson has a confession – he’s responsible for leaking upcoming episodes from his hit show, Power. 50, who is an executive producer on the series, ‘fessed up on social media. Posting an image of himself, he writes,
POWER Ratings up another 10 percent for episode 408. ? They glad I leaked the shit now. ?LOL #SAVAGELIFE Now watch what I do on BET. #50Centralbet
As previously reported, the remaining episodes have leaked online, initially surfacing on Facebook. Starz addressed the leak, releasing a statement. See it below.
The final three episodes of Power’s fourth season were leaked online due to a breach of the press screening room. This seems to be a case of password sharing that resulted in homemade videos of the episodes which were taped off a TV screen and posted online. Starz has begun forensic investigations and will take legal action against the responsible parties.
At the time, it was reported that the person or parties that leaked the footage, filmed the episodes off a phone and posted them on his personal social media with commentary. The Omari Hardwick, Lela Loren, Joseph Sikora, Naturi Naughton and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson led series, has been renewed for another season.
Do you believe that 50 leaked the episodes or is this just a typical 50 marketing strategy?
