Janet Jackson Breaks Down In Tears On Stage
Emotions were running high for Janet Jackson. On Saturday, the 51-year-old singer had an emotional moment during her concert in Houston. As you know, over the weekend, she kicked off her “State of the World Tour”. Janet came to tears, after her performance of the song “What About”. When the song came to an end, she stopped, put her hand over her face and began to cry on stage. She didn’t explain the outburst, but told the crowd,
This is me.
The song is from her 1997 album, “The Velvet Rope”, and deals with themes of domestic violence. No word on what triggered the touching moment. See footage below and fast forward to the 3:48 mark.
