Raven’s Home Renewed For 2nd Season
More TV time for Raveny-Symone! Disney has reportedly renewed family comedy spinoff Raven’s Home for a second season. It stars and is exec produced by Raven-Symoné, who toplined Dis Channel’s predecessor series That’s So Raven from 2003-07.
The series opened with the No. 1 live-action cable TV series premiere in two years among its targeted demographics of kids 6-11 (1.3 million/5.3 rating) and tweens 9-14 (1.5 million/6.1 rating) and kids 2-11 (1.6 million/4.0 rating). It also was the top series bow among all kids cable TV nets since Disney Channel’s Bunk’d in July 2015.
Raven’s Home is a comedy and family television series developed by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas that premiered on Disney Channel on July 21, 2017. Based on the characters created by Michael Poryes and Susan Sherman, the series is a spinoff and sequel to That’s So Raven, the second spinoff from that series after Cory in the House. The series stars Raven-Symoné, Issac Ryan Brown, Navia Robinson, Jason Maybaum, Sky Katz, and Anneliese van der Pol.
The series centers around Raven Baxter, a divorced mother of pre-teen twins Booker Baxter-Carter and Nia Baxter-Carter living with Chelsea Daniels, her childhood best friend, and her son Levi Grayson in Chicago, Illinois.
