Tamar Allegedly Abused By Vincent Because Of Her Mouth

Tamar Braxton’s mother, Evelyn Braxton, continues to speak out about her daughter’s divorce to Vincent Herbert. Earlier this month, Evelyn alleged that things had gotten physical between Tamar and Vince and she was concerned that Vince would end up killing her daughter.

Fast forward to the present day, and Evelyn alleges that Vince, who now manages Remy Ma, had been abusive for years. Evelyn tells The Grio, the volatile relationship “has been going on for years.”

Everybody saw Vince as a knight and shining armor, [but] behind closed doors that’s a horse of another color. I’m tired of [Tamar] being abused and misused. They say the truth shall set you free. They’ve been trying to hide it for years. And I have the audacity to tell the truth.

Evelyn says that they actually discussed this issue on the family’s reality show, Braxton Family Values, but it never made it to air.

We spoke up about it on the ‘Braxton Family Values’ but they would not show it. They would show all the other girls and their husbands, but when it came to Vince, they took it out of the show.

Evelyn, who temporarily lived in the couple’s Los Angeles home, says she confronted Vince about his behavior. However, she said that his response was always that Tamar’s “mouth” was to blame.

It’s always ‘it’s Tamar’s mouth’…it’s always someone else. That does not give you the right to abuse her. Everybody has a mouth. Everyone should have the right to say what they want. Are you trying to beat [her] into submissiveness? No one has the right.

Evelyn also that the domestic violence hotel altercation that reportedly happened in 2016 between the two was true. She says,

I think too many women are abused, and it’s high time that we stand up and stop this madness. Do you know how many women are killed each year? I just don’t want Tamar to be a part of that.

Domestic violence is no joke. Tamar is just embarassed but her mother has the best intentions and probably is fed up.

NOW we wanna talk about it… interesting how the “issue” becomes even moreso of an “issue” when money issues enter the game…Domestic violence is serious, and making it a secondary issue is just wrong.

Let me preface this conversation by saying I support the Stop domestic violence movement. There’s are also other forms of abuse outside of physical abuse. Mental abuse hurts just as bad as if someone hit you with boxing gloves. From my observation, Tamar verbally and mentally abuses everyone she comes in contact with. There is no way you can listen attentively if you are always talking. She wields control continuously with her opinions and loud ghetto rhetoric. In defense of Vince I feel for Him because she’s always telling him how to feel. If she would allow him to express himself without interruption they could possibly have a chance. She talks way more than she listens. Communication is key but for that to work there has to be a level playing field. You don’t have to like what the other person is saying but you do have to accept that it’s the way they feel. You can’t make good sound decisions if you don’t have all the pieces of the puzzle. Love should never be selfish or jealous. And the real parts of love that are of any real value can’t be bought. Eventually, superficial things that don’t matter, they wither and fade away. Case and point. Whatever has gone wrong in a relationship is never 1persons fault. Like Tamar, most focus more on being right rather than doing the right thing.. Vince is smart enough to pick and choose his battles to have peace. What’s the use in staying in a relationship where you never have a voice.
