Kanye Writes Dark Poems Referencing Divorce From Kim Kardashian And Being Dead

Kanye West is tapping into his creative skills as a poet while expressing his feelings on his current state of life.

The hip hop icon released a set of poems days after a judge granted his estranged wife Kim Kardashian the request for single status she’d been fighting in court for weeks to gain, discussing his desolate feelings on the divorce, and writing that he’s “been dead”.

Yeezy brand owner Kanye West, 44, has been open and honest about fighting his pending divorce, despite his reality tv star wife Kim Kardashian, 41, already moving on and dating SNL comedian Pete Davidson. The process has been visibly distressing for the College Dropout artist, as he has had multiple social media outbursts aimed at his estranged wife and her new relationship.

A few days after a judge granted Kim the single status she’s been requesting, Kanye cleansed his Instagram page and dropped the first of two poems entitled “DIVORCE”, where he writes:

“Divorce feels like full blown Covid”…

“Divorce feels like your soul was dragged over coals”…

“Divorce feels like your kids were snatched out of your control”

Among many other things the Donda producer relates to the feelings of going through divorce.

Days later, Kanye released his second poem with a caption saying that he refuses to explain his artistic expression after 20 years of giving as an artist. This statement possibly referencing the backlash he received after rapping it’s “dead on sight” when he pulls up to SNL as a feature on Fivio Foreign’s new song  “City of Gods” which features Kanye and Alicia Keys. As well as the kidnapping and burying of Pete Davidson portrayed in a newly released claymation video for the song “Eazy”, which he appears as a feature for rap artist The Game.

Kanye goes on to state in the caption written for his “DEAD” poem that he believes art has to be truth and one person’s truth could be another’s lie, and that explaining his art ruins the mystery and magic of it.

As a caption to the poem he writes:

“I feel already compromised that I have to justify my expression after over 20 years of art that I’ve contributed to the planet but I also see the need to make sure we as a species are allowed to still feel anything”

He continues:

“Men not allowed to cry celebrities not allowed to cry I will not explain this new piece for the explanation destroys the mystery and magic of true love and puts it in a box that can be counted Art is subjective Art only works when it is the artist absolute truth Someone’s truth can be another persons lie We don’t all have to feel the same because we are not the same With out further ado I present to you my latest creation it is called DEAD”

In the poem, Kanye suggests that he’s dead and that no one around him wanted to tell him.

On “DEAD”, he writes:

“No one wanted to tell me I was dead”…

“They would come to my grave and sprinkle some bread, So on my tombstone the birds would be fed”…

Kanye also alludes to himself being murdered in the poem writing:

“I found out one day at the newstand in purgatory there was a front page article about my murderers story”
