Cam’Ron: Social Media Is Why Juju & I Broke Up
Cam’Ron Blames Social Media For Ruining Relationship w/ JuJu
Cam’Ron is opening up about his split from girlfriend, Juju. The rapper and Love & Hip Hop NY reality star had dated for more than ten years. As to why the pair are going their separate ways, he says,
Basically, it was just kind of mutual. For me it just wasn’t fun anymore.
Cam’ron and Juju met in 2002, long before social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter had became super popular. He says that ironically enough, social media contributed to their demise.
Admitting that he helped promote Juju on social media, he felt Juju started getting a little too serious and questioned him about some of the things he did on Instagram. He says she would say things like,
Why you following her? Or you liked that person picture.
Cam says that his reaction would be,
Yo, you gotta be my best friend still because that’s what I’m in it for. I always told myself you [have to] be my best friend and that was my best friend for years but it just stopped being fun and I think she felt that way too.
However, he still has love for Juju.
She’s loyal, she’s smart, she’s funny, she’s charismatic. She has a bunch of different businesses she’s doing.
Juju has yet to comment on why the pair split.
