Stacey Dash Says Damon Dash Is Using Her

Stacey Dash is detailing why she’s taking issue with her cousin, Damon Dash. theJasmineBRAND.com broke the story that the 50-year-old actress was taking legal action, after Damon released a new movie poster for his upcoming film, Honor Up, which featured her likeness.

Sources told us that Stacey had already contacted her attorney about the matter. The Clueless actress has also further explained her issue with Damon. She states,

I’m sorry that my cousin Damon Dash is using our family relationship to advertise his movie. I have no written contract with him or Kanye West’s company (who I have had no dealings with at all). No one is authorized to use my name or photograph for “Honor Up.”

As previously reported, the film is executive produced by Kanye West and is said to hit theaters in February 2018.
