Sheryl Lee Ralph Joins “Claws”
Sheryl Lee Ralph is taking her talents to TNT. The Instant Mom alum has landed a recurring role on the second season of TNT’s comedic drama Claws.
Ralph will play Matilde Ruval, the Haitian mother of Desna’s (Nash) love interest Gregory Ruval (Jean-Louis), a benevolent and caring mother to her son, with more going on than meets the eye.
Claws follows five manicurists at the Nail Artisan salon of Manatee County, Florida enter the traditionally male world of organized crime when they begin laundering money for a neighboring pain clinic. The series stars Niecy Nash, Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, Karrueche Tran, Jenn Lyon, Jack Kesy, Kevin Rankin, Jason Antoon, Harold Perrineau and Dean Norris.
