Matt Barnes Calls Gloria Govan A Thief

Matt Barnes is sharing some serious accusations against his ex-wife and baby mama, Gloria Govan. The retired NBA star and former Basketball Wives cast member ended their marriage in 2014 and share twin sons. They’ve had a tumultuous relationship throughout the years, which has spilled out on social media.

This week, Barnes accused Gloria of stealing money from him to purchase her parent’s night club and home. The accusation took place after he posted a Happy Birthday Message to her. He wrote,

Wanna wish the mother of my children a very Happy Birthday! Hope this day is everything you hoped for and more.. Although things have been rocky to say the least the last 4yrs I hope that for the sake of our two beautiful baby boys we can come together & co parent them to the best of our abilities! No more games or bullshit.. They need both of our love & support equally!
We lead different lives now but we still on the same team
Anyways cheers to your day!!

Gloria responded and later deleted,

thank you, I think? And yes One can only continue to pray that your [sic] take your own advice and learn to peacefully co parent! But until then I’ll see you in court next week because you Love a frivolous lawsuit. But hey let’s keep co-parenting.

    Well I don’t know if jmillstein knew or heard when Barnes actually clarified what he thinks are “Tens” while arguing with a rapper a couple of years ago. Barnes flat out said “His Tens” are all “light-skinned.” So, yeah. The dude does make a distinction??????

      I get what you’re saying but he likes what he is. He is light skinned so when women prefer him to say Kobe what does thay say about them? A tall light skinned man with curly hair that doesn’t scream Black. He is the exact male version of her.

        Liking and/or Loving what you are is absolutely fine. What you then Do Not Do is say all other Black women who are not Light-Skinned are Not 10’s????? Ni**a (Barnes), that Dark-Skinned woman is obviously a “10” to somone else? He don’t have to degrade non-Light women as a means of expressing his kind of ‘Love’. Hasn’t that bullsh_ _ been going on since the beginning of time???

        I have never heard him say that. Bum ass men that talk bad about women are not my cup of tea. So I’m not fighting for him or his attention. Just saying I am so tired of men and women complaining about skin color when we are all black, light or dark. Now everyone is complaining about Kendrick Lamar’s girlfriend or Chadwick Boseman’s girlfriend. Can’t just be the woman they want has to be the one fans choose for them.

        Well, I’ve never heard of Kendrick (who I used to live next door to and him and his girlfriend or wife were Always very sweet) nor Chadwick being those type of Black men who say dumb shi_ like “I’m with my non-Black partner because Black women are (insert whatever derogatory crap you like).”
        My point is —> Love whomever you want to love. Just don’t be dumg enough to downgrade or degrade Black women just because you’re current partner is not Black?

        Oh no I’m not saying they do. But lately have been criticized for their choice of women. Kendrick and Chadwick have black women just not who a lot of women think they should choose.
