Michael B. Jordan Producing ‘Liberators’, Film About African American’s In World War II
Business is booming for Michael B. Jordan. Fresh off of the success of “Black Panther”, the 31-year-old actor will produce the World War II action-drama “Liberators”, through his Outlier Society Productions and with Safehouse Pictures.
The project is based on a spec script written by Madison Turner and tells the story of the 761st regiment in World War II, an entirely African-American combat unit whose heroism led to the desegregation of the armed forces.
No word on whether or not he will star in the film. Later this year, he is starring in and exec producing HBO’s upcoming film “Fahrenheit 451” opposite Michael Shannon.
