EXCLUSIVE: Katt Williams & Chris Tucker Make List Of Top Delinquent Taxpayers
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, comedians Katt Williams and Chris Tucker have made a list that isn’t the most favorable.
Both Williams and Tucker have been included on the California State Franchise Tax Board list of the top 500 delinquent taxpayers.
The document states those who owe the most money to the state in back taxes. According to the list, Williams (whose real name is Micah Williams) owed $1,717,504.87 in unpaid state taxes for income earned prior to 2012. Tucker owes $1,221,275.80 for unpaid taxes prior to 2017.
Both Tucker and Williams have had successful careers in Hollywood. Tucker is best known for playing the role of Smokey in F. Gary Gray’s Friday and as Detective James Carter in Brett Ratner’s Rush Hour film series. He became a frequent stand up performer on Def Comedy Jam in the 1990s. He appeared in Luc Besson’s The Fifth Element, Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown, David O. Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook, and Brett Ratner’s Money Talks.
Williams became a breakout star for his role as Money Mike in Friday After Next. His other credits include a stint on Wild ‘n Out, portraying Bobby Shaw in My Wife and Kids, providing the voice of A Pimp Named Slickback in The Boondocks, Seamus in Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, and his portrayal as Lord Have Mercy in Norbit. In 2008, he voiced himself in the video game Grand Theft Auto IV.
