EXCLUSIVE: Trey Songz – Lisa Bloom Responds To Singer Not Facing Felony Charges Over Domestic Abuse
theJasmineBRAND exclusively reports, Lisa Bloom, the attorney representing Trey Songz’s accuser is speaking out, addressing the latest loss in court to the singer. Bloom represents Andrea Buera, the woman who claims she was physically assaulted by Songz.
Earlier this month, a judge decided that Songz will not face felony charges over an alleged incident involving him and Buera. Reportedly, there were numerous witness statements contradicting what Buera says happened at the singer’s Hollywood Hills party. Responding to the court’s decision, Bloom tells us exclusively,
Celebrities too often get a pass in our legal system.
She continues,
We will press on for justice in the criminal court, and in the family law court where our domestic abuse case is filed.
As previously reported, on March 19th Songz surrendered to LAPD, facing a felony domestic violence charge. He was booked at 6 a.m. and was released by 8 a.m. Buera alleged that the singer choked and punched her last month at a party at his Hollywood Hills home.
