Wendy Williams – Beyonce Is Better Than Michael Jackson & Prince!

Over the weekend, Beyonce became the first woman of color to headline Coachella. Wendy Williams who is known for giving her unfiltered opinions about celebs, shared her thoughts on her performance during her “Hot Topics” segment. Praising Bey’s set she stated,

Can I tell you something, this is my opinion. We can fight all day!! I don’t care. Beyonce is the greatest performer of all time. Living or dead.

Michael Jackson

She began to compare Beyonce to “The King Of Pop”, Michael Jackson, who some consider the greatest entertainer of all time.

When you think Michael Jackson, you think of Moonwalk. He’s not walking. Yes and he did put a jet pack and flew over the stadium. Beyonce is a human jet pack.

Prince

She then went on to compare Beyonce to the late Prince.

Prince I get it, The Time with the mirrors and Prince and all them.

Williams kept praising the singer and went on to say that,

This [Beyonce] is the greatest performer of all time

Do you agree with Wendy?

Abso-friggin-lutely-NOT. Of ALL time? Chick really stretched with that one. No surprise, considering how ignorant she is. I don’t like saying the greatest ever for anybody but I’m not sure there is anyone that has done all of the things that MJ and Prince both did at the level of excellence they did them at.

This is such a stupid debate. They are all great and give something different.

No, it was a stupid butt kissing thing for her to say. You are right Mike and Prince were the greatest for their time and that included all that came before them which leads us to Beyoncé present day, she is the best for her time is what she should have said.

She is only saying it because it’s not the only place this debate is taking place so she wants to give her opinion. I don’t think it’s a coincidence, you hear this same thing on the breaksfast club and then she weighs in with her opinion.. But I do agree. She is possibly the greatest of her time.

Got ya. I’m not in to the breakfast club etc. so, i may not be current on events. I just know how i felt reading her statement. I just didn’t like her putting the people who came before Beyoncé down if not for them Beyoncé would still be dreaming of a future. This is her time.

Wendy went to d@man far. MJ is the greatest ever, but Beyonce is the greatest entertainer alive. Nobody can touch her, she’s a problem for all these up and coming artist .

Best I don’t think so either, media is so fickle and they will turn on her just like they did James Brown, Elvis,Donna Summer, Janet, MJ, Prince, Cher, Tina Turner etc when a younger person comes on the scene, plus she’s getting older the spell wears off, same machine used to elevate her will be the same machine to tear her down. Wendy is robotic or stefforded and she goes along with what her controllers tell her in her sleep at night.

Um ….no, not ever, not never, although she is talented in her own right.

Typical formula: New Rising Star Hype/Successful Album, then 3 or 4 albums still selling off residual hype & media, then Flop/Disappointing Sales/ still media hype(replacement artist already being groomed) then another disappointing album-the media machine then begins to disassemble and take down current artist, in-order for the new person to align into the position and the hype machine is now behind the new rising star.

In this day and age she is the best. There will only be a handful of entertainers that can and will rise to be great artist!! They all were great during their time. Eventually there will be someone who comes along and take that spot. The bar rises with each new person. Right now Beyonce has taken the bar to another level and is at the top of her game.
