Jordan Peele’s Nazi Hunters Series ‘The Hunt’ Picked Up By Amazon
Jordan Peele is heading to Amazon! The streaming service has officially picked up the Peele produced series The Hunt. Written by David Weil (Moonfall) and inspired by true events, The Hunt follows a diverse band of Nazi hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice — tracking and killing hundreds of Nazis who, with the unconscionable help of the U.S. government, escaped justice and embedded themselves in American society.
Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and Sonar Entertainment are producing, with Peele serving as executive producer and writer. The project stems from a first-look deal Peele and his Monkeypaw Prods. signed with Sonar Entertainment in February. Peele stated about the new project,
When David Weil first shared The Hunt with me, I immediately knew that we had to be involved. It’s cathartic. It’s noir. It’s frighteningly relevant. It’s exactly what I want to see on television. I am thrilled to be working with Amazon in bringing this incredible vision to the world.
Congrats to him!
