Afters months of speaking with senior advisor to the president, Jared Kushner, she was said to meet with President Trump. Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star would meet with him to ask him to pardon a 62-year-old great-grandmother (Alice Marie Johnson) serving a life sentence without parole for a first-time drug offense. She was scheduled to meet with Kushner first to discuss the prison reform before escorting Kim and her attorney to speak with the president about pardoning the woman.
Kim snapped a photo inside of the White House, shouting out Johnson.
According to reports, she did not bring reality TV cameras. Her hope is to make a legal argument to President Trump on why he should pardon Alice Johnson who has been in prison for more than 21 years. Kim came across Alice’s story on Twitter earlier this year and reached out to President Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, who then connected her with Jared.
After the sit down with the Trump, Jared and Ivanka plan to host a dinner for Kim.
