Naya Rivera & Ryan Dorsey Officially Divorced, Neither Will Pay Spousal Support
Naya Rivera & Ryan Dorsey Are Officially Divorced, Neither Will Pay Spousal Support
After three years of marriage, former Glee actress, Naya Rivera is now officially single again. She and Ryan Dorsey had their divorce finalized last Thursday. They both will also have joint legal and physical custody of their two year old son Josey and neither will pay spousal support.
As we previously reported, Naya filed for divorce for a second time back in December 2017. Naya first filed for divorce in 2014, but later dismissed it. She refiled for divorce in December, citing “irreconcilable differences” and asked for joint custody of their son. Naya also wanted the court to block Ryan from potentially receiving spousal support.
The filing followed a domestic dispute that the couple had over Thanksgiving weekend in which Naya was arrested.
She was charged with domestic battery after allegedly hitting Ryan in the head and face over a dispute involving their son. Dorsey was able to support his claims of the physical violence based on cellphone footage he showed the police. Dorsey also reportedly received minor injuries during the altercation.
Rivera was previously engaged to rapper Big Sean, who accused her of being a controlling and jealous during the course of their relationship.
