Ella Mai’s DJ Mustard Produced Single ‘Boo’d Up’ Certified Platinum
The accolades keep rolling in for singer-songwriter Ella Mai (10 Summers/Interscope Records), whose single “Boo’d Up” is now RIAA certified platinum. Produced by Mustard, the infectious R&B jam has crept up the charts, quietly catapulting into the Top 10 of Billboard’s prestigious Hot 100 while also peaking at #1 on Urban Radio. The song and accompanying music video is currently #1 on YouTube’s US Top song and music video charts, totaling over 88 million views.
The single’s chart-topping success has earned Ella Mai attention from several major platforms. The half Jamaican-half Irish songstress will grace the BET Experience Main Stage on June 22 before joining a star-studded lineup of performers at the 2018 BET Awards on June 24. This is a major accomplishment for the artist who recently made her television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!; re-airing Monday, June 25.
